What began as a way to earn extra income in college has grown into a full-time passion for the Vintage Vagabond. Founded in 2017 and based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Vintage Vagabond specializes in sourcing and curating one-of-a-kind vintage and retro apparel and goods. With a focus on quality, individuality, and storytelling, each piece is hand-selected to offer customers something truly unique.
Our journey extends far beyond Indiana. Traveling across the country in the “Vagabond Mobile,” we continuously seek out standout pieces while building relationships and connections within communities nationwide. This hands-on approach allows us to keep our inventory fresh, diverse, and authentic.
In August 2025, we proudly opened our first brick-and-mortar storefront at 5049 East 10th Street in the historic Irvington neighborhood. We’re proud to call Irvington home and to contribute to its vibrant, creative community by offering a welcoming space where customers can explore thoughtfully curated vintage collections in person.
Sustainability is at the core of what we do. The fashion industry remains a significant contributor to environmental harm, particularly through mass-produced fast fashion. By promoting secondhand shopping and extending the life cycle of garments, Vintage Vagabond helps reduce textile waste, water consumption, and harmful emissions. We believe style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
